News|Boulder enjoys 29th Street festivitiesStarting with the official lighting of the tree, the celebrations will last until December 21st, when horse drawn carriage rides will be on offer all afternoon and Santa's reindeer will also be dropping by. In between, there will be a host of fun, traditional activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Various dates throughout December will see the appearance of Dickens carolers, filling the cold winter air with their sweet and festive music. The 13th, meanwhile, will be host to horse-drawn carriage rides and chestnut roasting in Macy's Plaza. Santa will also be on hand to take photos with the excited kids from 11am to 6pm on Mondays to Thursdays, 11am to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. In 2006, 29th Street was opened on the site of the former Crossroads mall - it consists of a collection of smaller strip malls and big-box stores, making it the perfect location for all your Christmas shopping.
