From now until October 19th, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities in Denver, near
Boulder, will be hosting a new production of the musical Les Miserables.
Set on the main theatre stage, the musical - which was written by Alain Boublil and
Claude-Michael Schonberg in 1980, based on a 19th century novel by Victor Hugo - is directed by Rod
Lansberry.
A stellar cast will be performing the Toni-award winning musical, one of the most widely
performed in the world.
Coming to Denver after 16 years on Broadway, Les Miserables tells the story of a man's battle
against the injustices of society and a city's struggle for revolution.
A musical with themes of love and redemption, it is the largest production ever to be staged
in the Arvada Center and a must-see for anyone staying in a hotel in the nearby city of
Boulder.
