News|Pearl Street Stampede shaking up BoulderA tradition of the Colorado University (CU) college football team, the stampede features the Golden Buffalo Marching Band and the star players themselves. Visitors are encouraged to join in a fun evening of music and celebration before the Friday evening home game. The fun and excitement will commence on Pearl Street at 7pm before heading to 1200 and 1100 blocks, where the band will stop to play. For those really into their football, the CU Buffs will be hosting Oklahoma State at the weekend in a conference game that could be crucial at such a late stage in the college football season. The Buffs won their last game 28-24 against Iowa State, but have lost to Missouri and Texas A&M since beating Kansas State in the Family Weekend game.
