Empire State Building The Empire State Building, located on Fifth Avenue at 34th Street, is more than a quarter of a mile high and was once the world’s tallest building. Take a trip to the Observatory on a clear day and find panoramic views of Manhattan and the Tri-state area. Fifth Avenue Shopping From Tiffany to Saks, Fifth Avenue offers some of the finest shopping in the world. Find Bergdorf Goodman emporiums, Bloomingdale's and other department stores in Midtown, as well as a myriad of exclusive uptown boutiques. Grand Central Station Grand Central, the hub of New York City, is worth the visit. Completely restored back to its 1913 splendor, the terminal is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, on 42nd Street and Park Avenue. Statue of Liberty Guarding the entrance to the harbor, this gift from France is a great way to spend the day. Admission to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island is free, and it’s just a ferry ride away. Central Park Visit the vast green expanse of Central Park's 843 acres. The Park's six-mile perimeter extends from Central Park West to Fifth Avenue, and 59th Street to 110th Street. Metropolitan Museum The awe-inspiring art and historical collection of the Met has become synonymous with New York. Located on Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street, admission includes Museum galleries, all special exhibitions, guided tours, gallery talks, family programs and same-day visits to The Cloisters. From JFK Airport: Van Wyck Expressway North to Long Island Expressway (LIE) (I-495) West. Take the LIE to the Queens Midtown Tunnel (toll). When you exit the Tunnel, take 37th Street West to 3rd Avenue. Turn right on 3rd Avenue and continue North to 44th Street. Turn right on 44th Street and continue 1-1/2 blocks. The hotel is located on 44th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues, on the left-hand side of the street. From La Guardia Airport: Follow signs to Long Island Expressway (LIE) (I-495) West. Take LIE to Queens Midtown Tunnel (toll). When you exit the Tunnel, take 37th Street West to 3rd Avenue. Turn right on 3rd Avenue and continue North to 44th Street. Turn right on 44th Street and continue 1-1/2 blocks. The hotel is located on 44th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues, on the left hand side of the street.
